Is GoProgs Games free?
Yes. Every game is free to play. There are no ads, subscriptions or accounts to create.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Open a game in a modern web browser with JavaScript enabled. An internet connection is needed to load the site; online Rung rooms also need a connection while you play.
How do I find a game?
Search the homepage by name or type, such as Chess, puzzle or Court Piece. Pressing Enter keeps the results on screen; choose a game to open it. Category pages let you filter by play mode and change the order.
Can I play with someone on another device?
Rung supports online rooms: create a room, share its link and invite friends to join from their own devices. Same-device games, such as Chess, Backgammon and Connect Four, are played together on one screen. Check the play mode on each game card.
Can I use a phone or tablet?
The layouts adapt to smaller screens and games include touch controls. Some larger puzzle grids scroll within their board to keep cells usable. See the controls below each game; a keyboard or a larger screen may be more comfortable for some games.
Where is my progress saved?
Settings, scores and supported saved games are stored in this browser on this device. Saving varies by game. Recently opened records pages you visited; a Resume label appears only when a saved Chess game has been validated. Clearing site data, private browsing or blocking storage can remove or prevent saves. Progress does not sync between devices.
Why will a game not load?
Check your connection, enable JavaScript and reload the page. If a game reports a loading error, use Reload game or return to the catalog. Browser extensions can block scripts. If the problem continues, contact info@goprogs.com with the game name, your browser and what happened. Do not include a private room link.
Where are the rules and keyboard controls?
Each game page has controls and instructions below the board or stage. Use Tab to move between controls and the keyboard instructions to move within a board. Crossword uses arrows to move between cells and Enter for the next word; Tab leaves the grid.
Are there ads or tracking?
The site shows no advertising. Google Analytics loads automatically and uses analytics cookies to help us understand platform usage. Browser saves stay on your device. Online Rung rooms share your chosen display name and game state with the other room players through a hosted realtime service. Read the Privacy Policy page for details.
How can I report a problem or suggest a game?
Email info@goprogs.com with the game name and a short description. For a problem, include your browser, device and the steps that led to it. Avoid sharing personal information or room links.
