How to play Block Drop
Block Drop is a classic falling-blocks puzzle. Seven different shapes drop one at a time; move and rotate each one so the rows fill up completely. A full row disappears and scores points, and clearing several rows at once scores much more.
The blocks fall faster every ten lines. Use the Next preview to plan ahead, park an awkward piece in Hold for later, and watch the ghost outline to see where a piece will land. The game ends when the stack reaches the top.

Block Drop rules
- Pieces fall from the top and lock when they land.
- A completely filled row clears and everything above drops down.
- Clearing 1, 2, 3 or 4 lines at once scores 100, 300, 500 or 800, times the level.
- The level rises every ten lines and the pieces fall faster.
- You can hold one piece and swap it back in later, once per piece.
- The game ends when a new piece has no room to appear.

Block Drop questions
How is Block Drop scored?
One line scores 100, two score 300, three score 500 and four score 800, each multiplied by the current level. Soft and hard drops add a few points per row.
What does Hold do?
Hold swaps the falling piece with the one in the Hold box, once per piece. It is the best way to save a long piece for a four-line clear.
Can I play Block Drop on a phone?
Yes. Use the on-screen buttons or gestures: tap to rotate, swipe sideways to move, swipe down to drop.
