How to play Spider Solitaire
Spider Solitaire is a one-player card game played with two decks. Fifty-four cards are dealt into ten columns with only the top card of each face up, and the other fifty wait in the stock. The goal is to build eight runs from king down to ace, each in a single suit. A finished run leaves the table on its own.
Any card can go on one rank higher, whatever its suit, but only a run in one suit can be moved together, so sort the suits as you go. Turn over hidden cards, use empty columns to rearrange, and deal a new row when you run out of moves. Start with one suit, then try two or the classic four.

Spider Solitaire rules
- Two decks are used: all spades with one suit, spades and hearts with two, every suit with four.
- Place a card on one rank higher of any suit, such as a 7 on any 8.
- Move several cards together only when they run down in one suit.
- Any card or run may fill an empty column.
- Dealing puts one card on each of the ten columns, and is only allowed when no column is empty. There are five deals.
- A run from king down to ace in one suit is cleared from the table. Clear all eight to win.

Spider Solitaire questions
Which Spider Solitaire level should I start with?
One suit. Every card is a spade, so any run you build can be cleared. Two suits add hearts, and four suits is the classic hard game where every move needs planning.
When can I deal a new row from the stock?
Whenever no column is empty. Each deal puts one card face up on all ten columns, and a game has five deals.
Is every game of Spider Solitaire winnable?
No. Many one-suit deals can be won with care, but four-suit deals are much harder and some cannot be won at all. Undo is unlimited and the Hint button shows useful moves.
What is the daily deal?
Choose Daily to get the same cards as everyone else today, for the suit count you pick. Winning it extends your daily streak in Stats.
Build runs you can move
A seven may go on an eight of any suit. An eight–seven pair moves together only if both cards share a suit. Keep an empty column for rearranging, then fill it before dealing another stock row.
